🎨 Make Your Mark Before School Starts! ✏️📚
Before the backpacks are packed and the first-day jitters begin, join us for a special creative event inspired by the beloved book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds.
We’ll start by reading this inspiring story about courage, perseverance, and discovering that amazing things can happen when you’re willing to simply begin. Creativity isn’t about being “good at art”…it’s about having the courage to start, persevering, and seeing where it takes you.
After the story, each child will create their own round wooden sign that begins with just one painted dot and grows into a unique work of art. On the back of their sign, they’ll write something they’d like to learn, explore, or try during the upcoming school year…a reminder that every new adventure starts with a single step.
Whether your childhood is feeling excited, nervous, or a little bit of both, this is a wonderful way to build confidence, spark creativity, and head into the new school year with courage.
